A Prayer For Those Who Hate Me
I would like to pray right now to ease my heart.
Sweet Jesus, please take the hate from the hearts of those who seek to hurt me. Please show them the path to Your Love. Take from them their pain, their bitterness, their multitude of demons. Make them whole in Your Love. Lead them to Peace so that they may not judge others in reflection of the judgement written against them on their filthy self-righteous rags of souls. I pray that they will REPENT and let You into their hearts so the judgements against them may be washed clean and their names written in the Book of Life.
In Your Name Sweet Jesus I Pray, Amen.

Jesus would have you turn the other cheek, not heap abuse on them.
I still want to know why you are living with your boyfriend out of wedlock. For someone so quick to judge others, you do not set a good example. Should we not live a virtuous life, or just tell everyone how they are sinners.
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAA!!! Good one Nell!!
Why do you feel threatened by pretty girls?
You suck, brother. But then again, you are a law student....
LOL!
Dear Lord Jesus, Savior of humanity, Son of Man, Son of God, we pray to you this day on behalf of those whom would be considered the lowest of the low, the most degenerate of the degenerate, the most pathetic of the pathetic.
I pray to you, Father Son Jesus Holy Ghost for the lawyers. Please hate them not no matter how much they deserve it. Give them the Love that you bestow upon all of your children, your humble Creation. Allow themselves to soften their hearts that they may be not hard, and be willing to accept the Holy Love of the Great Salvation which you have paid for with your blood. Allow them to see the Light, hear the Truth, know Peace.
In Your Name we pray,
Amen.
how do you live with yourself? See all you do is come back with adolescent name calling and remarks. You dont even know what you believe.
You refuse to answer the question. Why, because your a bigot!!! You have no clue!
Another sign of the End Times?
All your base are belong to us!
His Mother is the she you killed.
Under the water, snakes and swords and stuff? Ringing any bells?
Sorry mistyped.
I'm at a loss for words.
I posted anonymously a little ways up about turning the other cheek, etc.
The problem here, anneangel, is that once you felt offended, you took it VERY personally, and you started to lash out in some very nasty ways.
Of course, it's really easy to think that people who disagree with you are evil assholes and the like.
It's very easy to hate, to get yourself all tangled up in unhappiness. I would suggest that once you read ffmm's post, you had a choice to either calmly say your piece, but you chose to go the other route.
And I get that. For a long time, I used to try to state the things I believed as outrageously as possible, I tried to be as strident as possible and as bitingly funny as I could be.
And all I was doing was building walls around myself, and that's what I think you're doing here. You're so afraid of being wrong or criticised that you have to snap back with venom.
But what does that accomplish? Earlier I said that Jesus would turn the other cheek. I think that's right, not only for religious reasons, but for practical ones, too.
When you think the world is against you, when every criticism of you is a knife in the back, then you're living in a very lonely place.
The people that you've offended are not awful human beings. (and for the record I think you're a fine person, too). If you got to know them and let them get to know you I am sure that everyone would be the better for it.
I don't believe in jesus, I don't believe in god, but I do think there's great wisdom in the idea that we should all strive to love each other. And I think you've lost that thread. As have some of the anonymous posters here.
Other people are not necessarily going to hear the things you say in the same way you do. Please try to be understanding and try to make yourself clearer. You reap what you sow. What are you sowing when you start cursing others?
Jesus' love was not conditional. He did not hold it back from those who disagreed with him or those who had done wrong.
And though it's hard to do, I think that's a pretty awesome example to follow.
Now I haven't done anything but give you advice, and you can disregard it.
But why is my giving advice worthy of cursing me?
But again, I didn't do anything at all to you except offer advice, why would you say "bite me" to me?
