Missing Mexico




I received an email today from my friends in Cancun saying they miss me and when am I coming to visit? I want to go today! Yesterday! Groan. Here's some pictures from my last trip.

That's me and my friend's son on top of the big pyramid at Chichen. I love Chichen and go as often as I can, it's free on Sundays!!!

The Wizard of Oz door is the door to my room at the hotel. Friends of mine own the hotel, it's paradise. Opening that door every morning is like being a child again. The flowers are the view out my window.

I really should just move there once and for all.

Wow Looks Awsome, we dont't have anything like tht in England, it's too cold here. I spent last Christmas in america with some friends in Sacrimento, i went wiv my mum, dad and sister. It was really surreal as it was sunny and warm on christmas day! We usually get snow some time near christmas and we have a big log burning fire that we use during winter instead of the central heating in the day/early evening. It saves power and looks really cool.

Ive never been to Mexico before but it looks really cool!

I'd love to go to Mexico again someday, I haven't been to Cancun in like 20 years. Wasn't it torn up in the hurricane tho?

I love fireplaces! Do you have any pictures of England you can put up? I've never been and have always wanted to go!! Can you tell me about Father Christmas? I know he is different than our tradition of Santa Claus.

Cancun is apparently up and running. My one friend lives between there and Montreal and she wrote and said her hotel was fine, but my other friend who wrote me and wants me to come, it was the first time I'd heard from him since. He said he has been very busy and he just got his internet back at his hotel.

So, I guess all is cool. The power of money and all that, Cancun is not a cheap place to visit, unless you are me. :)

Well after seeing your pictures, girl, I think you'll find Cancun a very pleasant experience.

Sometimes misogyny leads to great big discounts and I rarely if ever have to open a door for myself. Not to mention it's kind of cool to have a truck full of cops raising their rifles above their heads and whisltling and catcalling as they drive past. :)

Im not so sure father chistmas is different to santa clause. He comes down the chimney and puts presants in stokcings and under the tree. We leve cherie and mince pies out for him instead of milk and cookies and he gives bad children coal and oranges

Oh, I thought I heard somewhere he isn't a a jolly fat man over there. Thanks for the info Simon. :)

I must admit I hate mince meat pie. Once as a child a relative was baking some and the smell was so wonderful I couldn't wait to taste it. I asked for some after dinner and it was so horrible I almost died. But my family was strict, I had asked for it and I had to eat it. It was horrible.

Oh i have a shiney new blog!!!!

ive never liked mince pies tht much either... i like thtem some times tho. We have christmas pudding. I dont really like tht. My fave christmas desert is chocloate yuel log. Is really yummy!!!! I try to eat a whole one every christmas

Do you like eggnog? I love marzipan, it's my Christmas weakness. :) And begium cookies, and candy canes.

I love anything sweet. :) I don't know if I could eat a whole chocolate yule log, but I would try my hardest!

It's true, the traitor has apparently decided that it's no longer a sin against his moon god to try and milk money out of the fame he used to enjoy before he became a Satanist. I am not going to buy it, and if it by some far flung chance gets radio play, I'll switch channels.
