Arrogance and Pride

While surfing through blogs, I came across a the site of a Christian preacher. The site was nice, full of compassion and love as well as questioning and conversation.

However, one entry made me pause. The guy was talking about how he brings people to Christ and then they leave and it makes him feel like these people will burn in Hell now because he didn't keep them around.

First of all, he didn't bring anyone to Jesus. Jesus does that all on his own. This guy may have been used by God to plant a seed, but he is not God and he has nothing, absolutely nothing to do with anyone else's relationship with God.

I wondered about the opposite, if someone stays at his Church and never leaves......are they staying because of him? Because of his power and majesty????? NO NO ten thousand times NO! They are there because of THEIR PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP with CHRIST.

Period. If they leave, who the fuck is this guy to say they have left Jesus? Huh? Maybe they just didn't like HIM! Maybe he is a shitty preacher. Maybe he's arrogant and assuming. Maybe he tries to get inside their personal relationship with God and make himself a third party.

I dunno, but I am praying for this man to lose his pride. I hope you all will pray with me.

Also please pray that he finds a wonderful job that is fulfilling without taking too much of his time.

I'm confused. Very confused. You say you love Jesus and you talk about becoming clean through Jesus and yet your language is filthy. So, could you write a piece on how you reconcile these things and also describe the purpose of the naked sexy-leg signature photo you use? I'm sure you must know the scriptures about obscene speech and modesty. How does all this tie in with Jesus? I'm very curious. Thanks!

I do not curse God or piss on the name of Christ. If you have a problem with my use of language, if you are an elitist who thinks you can tell me how I should speak, again, it's your problem. I'm for free speech.

My soul is clean through Jesus. He lives in my heart. I have a mansion in the sky, my name is written in the book of life, when I fear or am sad or lonely, Jesus comforts me and gives me peace. I have a personal relationship with God, isn't that great? You can have one too you know. Just call out for Jesus, He'll come.

May I ask some question? Do you believe the Bible is God's word to us? Do you believe a person can have a personal relationship with God minus his revelation of himself to us through his word? I have been unable to tell if you are just a parody or if you are for real. But you have made me think about what it means to be a Christian:

Regarding a relationship with God:

If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. 1 Peter 4: 11

Regarding the beauty of Christian women:

Your beauty should ... be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight. 1 Peter 3: 3-4

No, no! I am a female. I'm being anonymous because I'm not sure who you are. But do not blame this on anyone but me. I am not who you have accused me of being. I LOVE God's word because that is how I know who he is. Scripture doesn't make me mad, it gives me hope.

If you want to follow Man, go ahead. If you want to piss on Christ and make up things to keep women down, enjoy.

I don't equate my religion with politics. The Founding Fathers understood that mixing the two are dangerous as relationships with God are PERSONAL.

You want to live in a theocracy, go to Saudi. This world belongs to Satan, all governments no matter if they claim to rule by God, rule by Satan.

Keep your "advice" on how a woman should act. Shove it actually.

Jesus never once made me second class, or told me to shut up or sit in quiet beauty and be a good girl.
