He looks so handsome in that picture! His tail is so beautiful. Do most iguanas have tails like that, or is he special? :)

Well, he's is very special, but I think that all green iguanas have a tail like that. When I got him about 3 years ago, he wasn't in the best shape, he had been kept in a fishtank!! That's just horrible and they hadn't been feeding him properly. His tail is dead for the last few inches, they say to snap it off on the net, but I'm not about to do that.

In the wild it would have fallen off by just living and stuff, but I can't find a vet who'll do it, so hopefully one day he'll fall off the tree or wall or whatever he is climbing and just snap it off himself.

He is a handsome guy, isn't he?

I've heard that about females, especially that they hate women who are on their periods and will attack even.

This guy isn't mean, he's just got attitude. He' grumpy and he hates everyone and everything. But he's very tame and wouldn't hurt a fly. ;)
