Why can't Canada deal with other nations respectfully? I mean, how hard is it for cops not to pepper-spray people who are asleep or to not beat women? It's utterly shameful. So, all you Amercia haters out there, still want to move to peaceful, liberal Canada? Or is this ok because you know, it's just "brown people" after all.

Obviously you have never spoken to some of those poor souls in Canada who have to wait half a year to see a specialist and then receive half-assed care by an incompetant doctor who could give a shit less what happens to them.
American health care costs more because it is worth more. I'd rather pay the price to see a good doctor than be forced to see a Canadian one.
Certain appointments (usually non life threatening) have long wait lists, and that's unfortunate, but if I had my way, we'd be putting more money and effort into it, but I don't fine tune the Province's budget.
I've had fairly serious specialist appointments with radically different fields, and I've never had to wait more than a week or two.
Like education, healthcare workers should be working for the good of society as a whole, not just those of us who can pay for it.
If you wanna talk horror stories, Conservative policies in your country have damaged american health, for instance, because of christian fundamentalists, debate goes on wether to administer a vaccination against the HPV virus, which is a major cause of cancer, because they don't want to encourage promiscuity.
Don't want to encourage promiscuity so they do not vaccinate against a disease that most of those young people haven't even heard of, especially given the state of your abstinance based sex education system.
