Finally we went to Ikea. I bought a lime green table top, red legs and four red chairs.

Now Shoelimpy gets to have fun trying to put it all together. :)

Sunny!

It's a beautiful sunny day! But it's cold. Not warm at all. It looks like it should be warm and nice out but it's not.

Last night the Mayor of Caledonia, Marie Trainer, said the protesting Natives were just waiting for their monthly cheques. No shit. She actually said it. The council went nuts and barred her from speaking on their behalf AND they all went down to the barricade in their suits and apologized and shook hands with the protestors.

Is she an idiot? The night before 500 townspeople stormed the police barricade demanding the protestors open the road. And then she says something like that?

At least she'll be getting those 500 votes. Stupid twit in her stupid Mayor necklace.

As for the townspeople SHAME ON YOU YOU RACIST FUCKTARDS! Screaming on tv! Acting like disgusting spit-shouting fools. Children too!!! The Natives aren't acting like that! No decent human acts like that!!! Women losing their minds screaming, like any of those bitches ever takes highway 6 South (except to buy gas and smokes on the reserve, lol). Hamilton and Walmart is NORTH you fucking shrill cunt!

We're going to Ikea tomorrow. To me Ikea is more than a store, it's an adventure. Where else can you shop more or less the entire third world under one roof? And then have a wonderful lunch of meatballs and potatoes with cranberries and lingonberry juice?

I need a new kitchen table. Right now I have like a japanese/mexican thing going on and frankly, it's dated.

And I want to get a birdbath for the side yard, so I get to go to the big garden center that I can't remember what it's called, too! WHOOP!

My life is so exciting, I can't believe it's really happening to me! :)

Trailer Park Boys Tonight!

So it's the new season of TPBs. If you don't know what the show is, it's an indepth documentary following the lives of a group of people who live in a trailer park in Nova Scotia. Sometimes gritty, sometimes inspiring, watching the raw uncut inner workings of the drunken Canadian mind and culture, we are reminded time and time again how good it is to be an American.

Great dialogue and plenty of character interaction. Ricky is my favorite. He's an uneducated, drug dealing drunk who thinks Santa and God are the same person. I think Bubbles is most people's favorite, he's a googly eyed guy who lives in Julian's shed with his kitties. Julian is their leader. He originally hired the film crew to document his life back when he and Ricky were killing dogs and cats for a living. Now they document everyone's , no one seems to notice them anymore, they're all too drunk.

If you can see this show, you won't regret it. Canadians are very, very strange people.
