Power Dimmage

It was the strangest thing, the power went out, but not all the way out. The lightbulbs were glowing orange and the digital clocks were flashing ":" over and over.

It ws totally freaky, and then the power went out completely for a couple of hours and came back on.

I have never seen anything like it, I didn't know you could have "just a little" power.

I guess you learn something new every day.

Warm and Sunny

It's a freakingly beautiful day in Annieland. The trees are finally all green. I've got sun and I've got shade, I've got souvlaki or however you spell it for the BBQ, and I've got Corona. I've got two dogs who won't stop chasing each other in laps around the yard, like they know it's the Indy 500 today. The outside furniture is all set up and cleaned, the decks and patios were powerwashed last week and all I really need done now is to get the fence stained.

And maybe shoot the bluejay that won't shut up. It's probably easier to give it a peanut.

I could hear it crying. It can't fly. I think it's mother is around but if it can't fly something's going to eat it. It can't take care of itself.

If it doesn't learn to fly soon I'm going to have to cage it for the night. It seems to like me.

Good Thoughts Please!

Cross your fingers, cross your toes, pray and send good thoughts my way, I may have the house sold. I almost sold it to the same person before but things got screwed up, this time I told him I want it gone soon as possible, he's going to get back to me. I know he wants it.

I've been trying to put up a brave front, but it's just that, a front. I'm depressed and confused and sad. Being here is horrible, I have no friends and it's boring as Hell.

So if we all pray together, I just might be able to get out of here and start a real life!! I'm going to start praying right now, and continue praying constantly until I hear from dude again.

I really need this one thing to go right for me!!!

Caledonia Update

So yesterday some rednecks went to a Native barricade (not the main one, one on a bridge) to, ummm, get in a fight? So they took a video camera, yelled and screamed and tried to take down the barrier, at which point the Natives (who have women and children behind the barricade) protected themselves from these aggressive men by throwing pieces of the barricade at them until they left.

The men who took the tape appear JUBILANT and seem to think this proves the Natives are terrorists or something.

I'm like HUH??? All over the news they are acting as if this incident put the lives of the residents of Caledonia in danger...but like, why did they go there and try to take down a barricade?

Hmmmm? Unreal. No cops to be seen either. From the tape I saw on the news, and the footage of the "anonymous" redneck talking about how "something needs to be done" (yes the guy who took the tape is saying it's proof something needs to be done) before it gets out of control.

The only ones out of control are the rednecks. And yes I mean racists. Sorry to any true farmers out there.

More Tree Killing!

This month there have been 3 trees in the neighborhood cut right down to stumps. Two Sugar Maples and one Red Maple, all big, beautiful, healthy trees. It's insane. There should be a law!

Now today I can hear more chainsaws and one of those chipper things. I'm scared to go investigate.

Why do people hate their trees so much, so suddenly? Is it a new fad?

1. campfuckudie It's a livejournal, and that's all I know for sure. It's a very strange place. There's over 1000 comments, I didn't read them all because after a while my brain started to get all weird and it refused to read anymore. It's totally insane. I don't understand it, there must be a rational explanation for the way they are acting....but I don't know what it is. I guess you have to be "cool" or something to understand.

I'd copy something for a teaser....but that would just ruin the effect. The avatars are teh cool and I think they have something to do with whatever they're doing over there. So yeah, go there and take a journey into a unique brand of insanity!

2. Clock Crew BBS The comments about my article aren't what made me love this site. I love it because I don't understand what the site is about and it seems to be a big involved thing that everyone there totally understands. However, I did learn:
